Cheeseboard drop off!
Our cheese boards are always generously presented
with some extra added treats...
Today we added fresh honey comb - goes
really well with aged cheeses with some "nuttiness" like
Parmigiano-Reggiano, a tangy Cheddar or a gorgeous Gruyere.
Honey
(especially a lavender /thyme or orange blossom one) also works really
well with fresh creamy cheeses like Ricotta, goat cheese or feta.
For
the perfect match with your blue cheese - use a more subtle flavoured
honey - the mellow sweetness will cut the saltiness from the cheese
perfectly!
