40th party bash - at the local pub!

This weekend Mrs.SW13 decorated a local pub to celebrate a very special 40th birthday - with a denim theme! Big photo backdrop, photographer, video documentation, lots of photos, denim buntings, photo props, denim decorated cup cakes.... Great party! Congratulations Christopher!

We're all going Swedish this weekend!
This Saturday it is time for our 4th annual Swedish crayfish party! 
Like a picnic (in the park...).... 

As half of Mrs.SW13 is Swedish - we do take part in some odd traditions sometimes - like the traditional Swedish crayfish party!

Imagine a mild late summer evening. Friends gathered around a table with bright red crayfish, bread, cheese and pies. And as the sun sets slowly, candles are lit and paper lanterns glow in the increasing darkness. Everyone is wearing paper hats, signing merry SILLY songs to accompany the snaps...

The theme this year is garden picnic.... Crayfish, sunflowers, snaps, beers, flowers...

We will keep you updated for sure!

The "photo-booth" backdrop just arrived! Off course we had to try it!

  

We have O.P, Akvavit and homemade elderflower and lemon snaps - and Turkisk peppar / salt liquorish shots in the freezer! We hope you're ready for a great evening on Saturday!
